Mauritania Hydrogen/SAF Pilot Project
Aviura, in collaboration with SB-GAZ and with the support of The Ministry of Energy and Petroleum of the Islamic Republic of Mauritania, is proud to launch a groundbreaking clean energy project. This initiative will combine SB-GAZ’s expertise in biogas production with Aviura’s advanced methane pyrolysis system to produce hydrogen, sustainable aviation fuel (SAF), and high-value carbon black with zero CO₂ emissions.
This project aligns with Mauritania’s strategic vision to reduce greenhouse gas emissions, drive sustainable economic growth, and position the country as a regional leader in clean energy technologies. It also supports global net-zero targets by advancing innovative solutions for clean energy production and reducing reliance on fossil fuels.
