Methane pyrolysis for hydrogen production highlights our technological advantage by offering a process unit that is carbon-free, significantly contributing to the achievement of net-zero goals.

In this method, hydrogen is produced by applying heat from a plasma source during methane pyrolysis. The plasma source is powered by externally supplied electricity or Renewable Energy.

During the process, hydrogen is separated by cleaving the hydrogen-carbon bonds in methane. The result is gaseous hydrogen and solid carbon, allowing for a clean and efficient separation of the two elements.
